"And you are truly ˹a man˺ of outstanding character"
[Surah Al-Qalam 68:4]
The Prophet ﷺ who corrected the deviated Religion
By: Shaikh Zafar Ul Hasan Al Madani
The Remarkable Duty of Prophet ﷺ

Allah will not give him death till he corrects the deviated religion (Deen)

What is a deviated path in religion (Deen)? Touhid is the straight path, Siratul Mustaqeem. Shirk is the deviated path.

Prophet Mohammed ﷺ was sent to guide towards the (correct) path of religion
"Truth has arrived and falsehood has perished for, falsehood is bound to perish"
Surah Isra

Ibn Abbas (May Allah be pleased with him) was only a young boy when he was honored with an appointment in the ministry of Umar (May Allah be pleased with him). Some people objected to the appointment of such a young boy in the ministry. So he gathered the people and asked them to give the Tafseer of the verse:

"When the Help of Allah arrives and victory, you will see people entering into His deen in hordes. Now praise Allah and repent to Him, indeed he is oft forgiving."

Everyone gave their point of view as Tafseer but Ibn Abbas said:

"This verse is the prediction of the death of the Prophet ﷺ as the verse about the completion of the Deen was revealed." Umar agreed with him.

This day we complete your Deen for you

The Prophet ﷺ died only after Kufr and shirk were totally wiped out and Islam dominated the land of Arabia.

"This day, we complete your Deen for you" is the last verse of the Qur’an to be revealed. Umar bin al Khattab said:

"Allah kept his Prophet alive till Touhid was established."

That’s what the Torah foretold about the Prophethood of Muhammad ﷺ .

With the blessings of the words of Touhid, Allah will give vision to the blind, hearing to the deaf and freedom to the hearts covered by the darkness of ignorance. The words are - La Ilaha Illa Allah. Kufr and shirk have blinded the people in such a way that they cannot see the reality. A person decides the size of his idol and chooses his own god, a god made up of stone and yet he does realise that it is just a statue of stone and not his creator. He pays a huge amount for the idol. His eyes have been blinded by shirk. He gets educated, becomes a doctor but does not realise that this god is made by a human, instead he considers it to be a source of help for him. Touhid opens his eyes. It is not the eyes that are blind but the eyes of his heart that are blind, says the Quran about such blindness.
