Chapter 253: What May Be Used As A Sutrah By The Praying Person
باب مَا يَسْتُرُ الْمُصَلِّي
Sunan Abi Dawud 685
Talhah b. 'Ubaid Allah reported the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying
When you place in front of you something such as the back of a saddle, then there is no harm if someone passes in front of you (i.e. the other side of it).حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ الْعَبْدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِذَا جَعَلْتَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ مِثْلَ مُؤَخَّرَةِ الرَّحْلِ فَلاَ يَضُرُّكَ مَنْ مَرَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ " .
