بلوغ المرام

Narrated Maimuma (May Allah be pleased with her)

Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) poured water over his private parts and washed them with his left hand. He then struck his hand against the earth.

وَلَهُمَا فِي حَدِيثِ مَيْمُونَةَ: { ثُمَّ أَفْرَغَ عَلَى فَرْجِهِ, فَغَسَلَهُ بِشِمَالِهِ, ثُمَّ ضَرَبَ بِهَا اَلْأَرْضَ }

Narrated Maimuna (Radhi Allahu Anhu)

"And he wiped it with earth".

وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: { فَمَسَحَهَا بِالتُّرَابِ }

And in the last of this version: “I handed him a piece of cloth, but he did not take it... He started shaking the water off his hand.”

وَفِي آخِرِهِ: { ثُمَّ أَتَيْتُهُ بِالْمِنْدِيلِ } فَرَدَّهُ, وَفِيهِ: { وَجَعَلَ يَنْفُضُ الْمَاءَ بِيَدِهِ } 1‏ .‏
