Bulugh al-Maram 140
Narrated Hamnah bint Jahsh
'I had a very strong prolonged flow of blood. I went to the Prophet ﷺ to ask him about it. He said, "This is a strike from Satan. So observe your menses for six or seven days, then perform Ghusl until you see that you are clean. Pray for twenty-four or twenty-three nights and days and fast, and that will suffice you. Do so every month just as the other women menstruate (and are purified). But if you are strong enough to delay the Dhuhr prayer and advance the Asr prayer, then make Ghusl when your purified and combine the Dhuhr and the Asr prayers together; then delay the Maghrib prayer and advance the Isha prayer, and perform Ghusl and combine the two prayers, do so. Do so, and then wash at dawn and pray Fajr. This is how you may pray and fast if you have the ability to do so." And he said, "That is the more preferable way to me." [Reported by the five imams except An- Nasa’i, At-Tirmidhi graded it Sahih (sound)]وَعَنْ حَمْنَةَ بِنْتِ جَحْشٍ قَالَتْ: { كُنْتُ أُسْتَحَاضُ حَيْضَةً كَبِيرَةً شَدِيدَةً, فَأَتَيْتُ اَلنَّبِيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -أَسْتَفْتِيهِ, فَقَالَ: "إِنَّمَا هِيَ رَكْضَةٌ مِنَ اَلشَّيْطَانِ, فَتَحَيَّضِي سِتَّةَ أَيَّامٍ, أَوْ سَبْعَةً, ثُمَّ اِغْتَسِلِي, فَإِذَا اسْتَنْقَأْتِ فَصَلِّي أَرْبَعَةً وَعِشْرِينَ, أَوْ ثَلَاثَةً وَعِشْرِينَ, وَصُومِي وَصَلِّي, فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ يُجْزِئُكَ, وَكَذَلِكَ فَافْعَلِي كَمَا تَحِيضُ اَلنِّسَاءُ, فَإِنْ قَوِيتِ عَلَى أَنْ تُؤَخِّرِي اَلظُّهْرَ وَتُعَجِّلِي اَلْعَصْرَ, ثُمَّ تَغْتَسِلِي حِينَ تَطْهُرِينَ وَتُصَلِّينَ اَلظُّهْرَ وَالْعَصْرِ جَمِيعًا, ثُمَّ تُؤَخِّرِينَ اَلْمَغْرِبَ وَتُعَجِّلِينَ اَلْعِشَاءِ, ثُمَّ تَغْتَسِلِينَ وَتَجْمَعِينَ بَيْنَ اَلصَّلَاتَيْنِ, فَافْعَلِي. وَتَغْتَسِلِينَ مَعَ اَلصُّبْحِ وَتُصَلِّينَ. قَالَ: وَهُوَ أَعْجَبُ اَلْأَمْرَيْنِ إِلَيَّ } رَوَاهُ اَلْخَمْسَةُ إِلَّا النَّسَائِيَّ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ, وَحَسَّنَهُ اَلْبُخَارِيّ ُ 1 .

Narrated 'Amr bin al-'Aas (RA)
He heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) say, "When a judge gives a ruling, having tried his best to decide correctly, and is right (in his decision), he will have a double reward; and when he gives a ruling having tried his best to decide correctly, and is wrong (in his decision), he will have a single reward." [Agreed upon].وَعَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ - رضى الله عنه - أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -يَقُولُ: { "إِذَا حَكَمَ اَلْحَاكِمُ, فَاجْتَهَدَ, ثُمَّ أَصَابَ, فَلَهُ أَجْرَانِ. وَإِذَا حَكَمَ, فَاجْتَهَدَ, ثُمَّ أَخْطَأَ, فَلَهُ أَجْرٌ" } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ 1 .

Narrated Abu Bakrah (May Allah be pleased with him)
I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) say, "No judge should give judgement between two people while he is angry." [Agreed upon].وَعَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -يَقُولُ: { " لَا يَحْكُمُ أَحَدٌ بَيْنَ اِثْنَيْنِ, وَهُوَ غَضْبَانُ" } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ 1 .
Bulugh al-Maram 1402
Narrated 'Ali (May Allah be pleased with him)
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "When two men bring a case before you, do not decide in favor of the first till you hear what the other has to say, then you will know how to judge." 'Ali (May Allah be pleased with him) said, "Since then, I have continued to judge (in accordance with that)." [Reported by Ahmad, Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi. The latter graded it Hasan (good), while Ibn al-Madini graded it Qawi (strong), and Ibn Hibban graded it Sahih (authentic).]وَعَنْ عَلِيٍّ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ " إِذَا تَقَاضَى إِلَيْكَ رَجُلَانِ, فَلَا تَقْضِ لِلْأَوَّلِ, حَتَّى تَسْمَعَ كَلَامَ اَلْآخَرِ, فَسَوْفَ تَدْرِي كَيْفَ تَقْضِي" . قَالَ 1 . عَلِيٌّ: فَمَا زِلْتُ قَاضِيًا بَعْدُ } رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ, وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ, وَاَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ وَحَسَّنَهُ, وَقَوَّاهُ اِبْنُ اَلْمَدِينِيُّ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اِبْنُ حِبَّانَ 2 .
Bulugh al-Maram 1403
It has a Shahid (supporting narration) reported by al-Hakim from the Hadith of Ibn 'Abbas.
وَلَهُ شَاهِدٌ عِنْدَ اَلْحَاكِمِ: مِنْ حَدِيثِ اِبْنِ عَبَّاسٍ 1 .
Bulugh al-Maram 1404
Narrated Umm Salamah (May Allah be pleased with him)
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Indeed, you bring your disputers to me, and perhaps some of you are more eloquent in their plea than others, so that I give judgement on their behalf according to what I hear from them. Therefore, whatever I rule for anyone which by right belongs to his brother, I am only granting him a portion of Hell-fire." [Agreed upon].وَعَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -: { " إِنَّكُمْ تَخْتَصِمُونَ إِلَيَّ, وَلَعَلَّ بَعْضَكُمْ أَنْ يَكُونَ أَلْحَنَ بِحُجَّتِهِ مِنْ بَعْضٍ, فَأَقْضِيَ لَهُ عَلَى نَحْوٍ مِمَّا أَسْمَعُ, مِنْهُ فَمَنْ قَطَعْتُ لَهُ مِنْ حَقِّ أَخِيهِ شَيْئًا, فَإِنَّمَا أَقْطَعُ لَهُ قِطْعَةً مِنَ اَلنَّارِ" } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ 1 .

Narrated Jabir (May Allah be pleased with him)
I heard Allah's Messenger (SAW0 saying, "How could an Ummah (people) be purified (of its sins) where the right of its weak is not taken from its strong." [Reported by Ibn Hibban].وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ - رضى الله عنه - [ قَالَ ]: سَمِعْتُ اَلنَّبِيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم - 1 يَقُولُ: { " كَيْفَ تُقَدَّسُ أُمَّةٌ, لَا يُؤْخَذُ مِنْ شَدِيدِهِمْ لِضَعِيفِهِمْ ?" } رَوَاهُ اِبْنُ حِبَّانَ 2 .
Bulugh al-Maram 1406
It has a Shahid (supporting narration) from the Hadith of Buraida, reported by al-Bazzar.
وَلَهُ شَاهِدٌ: مِنْ حَدِيثِ بُرَيْدَةَ, عِنْدَ اَلْبَزَّارِ 1 .
Bulugh al-Maram 1407
And another [Shahid (supporting chain)] from the Hadith of Abu Sa'id, reported by Ibn Majah.
وَآخَرُ: مِنْ حَدِيثِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ عِنْدَ اِبْنِ مَاجَه 1 .
Bulugh al-Maram 1408
Narrated 'Aishah (RA)
I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, "the just Qadi (judge) will be called (forth) on the Day of Resurrection and he will wish he had never given judgement even between two men throughout his life, due to the severity of the account he will face." [Reported by Ibn Hibban. al-Baihaqi reported it with the wording: "...concerning a single tamrah (date fruit).وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -يَقُولُ: { " يُدْعَى بِالْقَاضِي اَلْعَادِلِ يَوْمَ اَلْقِيَامَةِ, فَيَلْقَى مِنْ شِدَّةِ اَلْحِسَابِ مَا يَتَمَنَّى أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَقْضِ بَيْنَ اِثْنَيْنِ فِي عُمْرِهِ" } رَوَاهُ اِبْنُ حِبَّانَ 1 وَأَخْرَجَهُ اَلْبَيْهَقِيُّ, وَلَفْظُهُ: { فِي تَمْرَةٍ } 2 .
Bulugh al-Maram 1409
Narrated Abu Bakrah (May Allah be pleased with him)
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "A people who make a woman their ruler will never be successful." [Reported by al-Bukhari].وَعَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ - رضى الله عنه - عَنِ اَلنَّبِيِّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَالَ: { "لَنْ يُفْلِحَ قَوْمٌ وَلَّوْا أَمْرَهُمْ اِمْرَأَةً" } رَوَاهُ اَلْبُخَارِيُّ 1 .
