Chapter 85: What was narrated concerning the sermon on Friday
باب مَا جَاءَ فِي الْخُطْبَةِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ
Sunan Ibn Majah 1104
It was narrated from Ja’far bin ‘Amr bin Huraith that his father said
“I saw the Prophet (ﷺ) delivering the sermon on the pulpit, wearing a black turban.”حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ مُسَاوِرٍ الْوَرَّاقِ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَخْطُبُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ، وَعَلَيْهِ عِمَامَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ .
