Chapter 108: What was narrated concerning one who performs four Rak’ah before the Zuhr and four Rak’ah afterwards
باب مَا جَاءَ فِيمَنْ صَلَّى قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ أَرْبَعًا وَبَعْدَهَا أَرْبَعًا
Sunan Ibn Majah 1160
It was narrated from Umm Habibah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said
“Whoever prays four Rak’ah before the Zuhr and four afterwards, Allah will forbid him to the Fire.”حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الشُّعَيْثِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَنْبَسَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " مَنْ صَلَّى قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ أَرْبَعًا، وَبَعْدَهَا أَرْبَعًا، حَرَّمَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَى النَّارِ " .
