Chapter 126: What was narrated concerning lying down after Witr and after the two Rak’ah of Fajr
باب مَا جَاءَ فِي الضَّجْعَةِ بَعْدَ الْوِتْرِ وَبَعْدَ رَكْعَتَىِ الْفَجْرِ
Sunan Ibn Majah 1198
It was narrated that ‘Aishah said
“When the Prophet (ﷺ) prayed the two (Sunnah) Rak’ah of Fajr, he would lie down on his right side.”حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ إِذَا صَلَّى رَكْعَتَىِ الْفَجْرِ اضْطَجَعَ عَلَى شِقِّهِ الأَيْمَنِ .
