Chapter 147: The prohibition of Prayer after the Fajr and the ‘Asr
باب النَّهْىِ عَنِ الصَّلاَةِ، بَعْدَ الْفَجْرِ وَبَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ
Sunan Ibn Majah 1248
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade two prayers
prayer after the Fajr until the sun has risen, and prayer after ‘Asr until the sun has set.حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، وَأَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ خُبَيْبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ نَهَى عَنْ صَلاَتَيْنِ عَنِ الصَّلاَةِ بَعْدَ الْفَجْرِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ وَبَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ .
