Chapter 158: What was narrated concerning the sermon for ‘Eid
باب مَا جَاءَ فِي الْخُطْبَةِ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ
Sunan Ibn Majah 1286
It was narrated from Salamah bin Nubait that his father performed Hajj and said
“I saw the Prophet (ﷺ) delivering the sermon atop his camel.”حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ نُبَيْطٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ حَجَّ فَقَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَخْطُبُ عَلَى بَعِيرِهِ .
