Chapter 205: What was narrated concerning where shoes should be placed if they are taken off during Prayer
باب مَا جَاءَ فِي أَيْنَ تُوضَعُ النَّعْلُ إِذَا خُلِعَتْ فِي الصَّلاَةِ
Sunan Ibn Majah 1431
It was narrated that ‘Abdullah bin Sa’ib said
“I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) praying on the Day of the Conquest, and he put his shoes on his left.”حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبَّادٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ صَلَّى يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ فَجَعَلَ نَعْلَيْهِ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ .
