Chapter 17: What was narrated concerning the tooth stick and kohl for one who is fasting
باب مَا جَاءَ فِي السِّوَاكِ وَالْكُحْلِ لِلصَّائِمِ
Sunan Ibn Majah 1678
It was narrated that ‘Aishah said
“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) applied kohl to his eyes while he was fasting.”حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو التَّقِيِّ، هِشَامُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ الْحِمْصِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ، حَدَّثَنَا الزُّبَيْدِيُّ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتِ: اكْتَحَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ .
