Chapter 49: Intercession concerning marriage
باب الشَّفَاعَةِ فِي التَّزْوِيجِ
Sunan Ibn Majah 1975
It was narrated that Abu Ruhm said
"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'One of the best kinds of intercession is interceding between two people concerning marriage."'حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْخَيْرِ، عَنْ أَبِي رُهْمٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " مِنْ أَفْضَلِ الشَّفَاعَةِ أَنْ يُشَفَّعَ بَيْنَ الاِثْنَيْنِ فِي النِّكَاحِ " .
