Chapter 31: Passing Judgement On The Basis Of A Witness And An Oath
باب الْقَضَاءِ بِالشَّاهِدِ وَالْيَمِينِ
Sunan Ibn Majah 2369
It was narrated from Jabir that
the Prophet (ﷺ) passed judgement on the basis of an oath (from the claimant) along with a (single) witness.حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَضَى بِالْيَمِينِ مَعَ الشَّاهِدِ .
