Chapter 14: Keeping horses in the cause of Allah
باب ارْتِبَاطِ الْخَيْلِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ
Sunan Ibn Majah 2787
It was narrated from ‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said
“There is goodness in the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection.”حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ، أَنْبَأَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهُ قَالَ " الْخَيْلُ فِي نَوَاصِيهَا الْخَيْرُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
