Chapter 11: Prohibition of treating illness with foul things
باب النَّهْىِ عَنِ الدَّوَاءِ الْخَبِيثِ
Sunan Ibn Majah 3460
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said
“Whoever drinks poison and kills himself, will be sipping it in the fire of Hell forever and ever.’”حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " مَنْ شَرِبَ سُمًّا فَقَتَلَ نَفْسَهُ فَهُوَ يَتَحَسَّاهُ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدًا مُخَلَّدًا فِيهَا أَبَدًا " .
