Chapter 51: A person who has arrows should carry them by their heads
باب مَنْ كَانَ مَعَهُ سِهَامٌ فَلْيَأْخُذْ بِنِصَالِهَا
Sunan Ibn Majah 3777
Jabir bin 'Abdullah said
"A man passed through the masjid with some arrows, and the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Hold them by their heads!' He said: 'Yes(ok).'"حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفَيْانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، قَالَ قُلْتُ لِعَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ سَمِعْتَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، يَقُولُ مَرَّ رَجُلٌ بِسِهَامٍ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " أَمْسِكْ بِنِصَالِهَا " . قَالَ نَعَمْ .
