Chapter 90: What was narrated concerning the cause (of dry ablution)
باب مَا جَاءَ في السبب (فِي التَّيَمُّمِ)
Sunan Ibn Majah 566
It was narrated that 'Ammar [bin Yasir] said
"We did dry ablution with the Messenger of Allah , (wiping our arms) up to our shoulders."حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ الْعَدَنِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ، قَالَ تَيَمَّمْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ إِلَى الْمَنَاكِبِ .
