Chapter 120: A menstruating woman taking something from the mosque
باب الْحَائِضِ تَتَنَاوَلُ الشَّىْءَ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ
Sunan Ibn Majah 632
It was narrated that 'Aishah said
"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to me: 'Get me a mat from the mosque.' I said: 'I am menstruating.' He said: 'Your menstruation is not in your hand.'"حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْبَهِيِّ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " نَاوِلِينِي الْخُمْرَةَ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ " . فَقُلْتُ إِنِّي حَائِضٌ . فَقَالَ " لَيْسَتْ حَيْضَتُكِ فِي يَدِكِ " .
