Mishkat al-Masabih 3972
Ibn Mas'ud told that when Allah's Messenger ﷺ intended to kill ‘Uqba b. Abu Mu'ait he asked who would look after the children, and he replied that hell would. Abu Dawud transmitted it.
وَعَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمَّا أَرَادَ قَتْلَ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ أَبِي مُعَيْطٍ قَالَ: مَنْ لِلصِّبْيَةِ؟ قَالَ: «النَّار» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
