Chapter 30: Imam offering a sacrifice on the day of 'Eid and the number (of animals) he may slaughter
باب ذَبْحِ الإِمَامِ يَوْمَ الْعِيدِ وَعَدَدِ مَا يَذْبَحُ
Sunnan an-Nasai 1589
It was narrated from Nafi that
Abdullah (bin Umar) told him that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to offer sacrifice in the prayer place.أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنِ اللَّيْثِ، عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ فَرْقَدٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يَذْبَحُ أَوْ يَنْحَرُ بِالْمُصَلَّى .
