Chapter 28: Selling Fruits Before Their Condition Is Known
باب بَيْعِ الثَّمَرِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَبْدُوَ صَلاَحُهُ
Sunnan an-Nasai 4520
It was narrated from Salim, from his father, that
the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade selling fruits until their condition is known.أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ الثَّمَرِ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ صَلاَحُهُ .
