Chapter 364: Prohibition of using Utensils made of Gold and Silver
- باب تحريم استعمال إناء الذهب وإناء الفضة في الأكل والشرب والطهارة وسائر وجوه الاستعمال
Riyad as-Salihin 1795
Umm Salamah (May Allah be pleased with her) said
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Whosoever drinks in utensils of silver, in fact, kindles in his belly the fire of Hell."[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
The narration of Muslim is: "Verily, the person who eats or drinks in utensils made of gold and silver."
- عن أم سلمة رضي الله عنها أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "الذي يشرب في آنية الفضة إنما يجرجر في بطنه نار جهنم" ((متفق عليه)). وفي رواية لمسلم: "أن الذي يأكل أو يشرب في آنية الفضة والذهب"
