Chapter 32: The Hadith: "When The Sword Is Imposed On My Ummah, It Shall Not Be Removed From It Until The Day Of Resurrection."

Jami at-Tirmidhi 2202
Thawban narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said
"When the sword is imposed on my Ummah, it shall not be removed from it until the Day of Resurrection."حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي أَسْمَاءَ، عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِذَا وُضِعَ السَّيْفُ فِي أُمَّتِي لَمْ يُرْفَعْ عَنْهَا إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
